thebizness.com is one of many web sites owned, operated and maintained by ProFiles Development. We have recently relocated to New Zealand (highly recommended!) and are now an Auckland based company. In keeping with professional Internet practices, we like to ensure that visitors to our site(s) and purchasers of our products and/or services via the Internet are provided with all the necessary information to enable them to confidently do business with us.

Prices  
All prices charged on our site(s) are in New Zealand Dollars (NZ$) with the exception of our InsureIT program, which is charged in US$ with online payments via PayPal.If price comparisons to another currency are shown, these are for indication purposes only. If paying by credit card, you will be billed by your bank at the applicable rate (and in the applicable currency) at the time the transaction is completed. In ALL circumstances you will NEVER be charged more than the indicated price, and are likely to pay around 5% less. All online transactions are conducted via secure servers using SSL technology.

Returns & Refunds  
All of our programs are shareware, so in all cases you try them before you buy them, i.e. you can download them, use them and see if you like them first. For obvious reasons, after a serial number(s) has been purchased (and sent) we do not provide refunds.

In the unlikely event of a development project being faulty; we will rectify any problems (at our cost) and forward the updated program(s) / file(s) to you; again at our cost.

Cancellations  
You have the right to cancel any online purchase providing (in the case of a serial number for one of our programs), we have not already sent you a serial number via email. In all cases (subject to the above), just contact us via any of the contact details provided above (email is preferred) and quote your reference that was provided when you completed your purchase and let us know that you wish to cancel. We will immediately cancel your purchase. If the transaction has already been processed (and a serial number(s) has not been issued), we will credit your card within 48 hours.

Cancellations for development work that has been ordered (and paid for), will incur a charge based upon the time spent on the project up to the cancellation. The balance will be forwarded to you (via a cheque or telegraphic transfer) within 2 working days.

In the case of recurring transactions i.e. for monthly web hosting charges (for which you have previously given us authority to automatically debit your card), you must provide us with 7 days notice of your wish to cancel. An automatic confirmation will be sent to you when we debit a recurring transaction.

Privacy Policy  

Our privacy policy is simple. We do not under any circumstances sell, lease, rent or pass on ANY information obtained via our web site(s) or online forms to any third parties whatsoever.

We also do not engage in 'Spamming' or send out unsolicited e-mail. If you subscribe to any of our lists, requests to be removed from them are dealt with immediately (and by real people).

Your business (and/or recommendations) are important to us. It is not in our interests to abuse your trust.
